Q: What equipment and software do I need for the video survey?
A: All you need is your phone, laptop or tablet. All works fine as long as you can move around your home and show the operator around. Also, the conference talk can be done on WhatsApp.
Q: Do I have to prepare specific information in advance?
A: Yes, please be prepared to answer a few questions about the pickup location and the delivery property. You will be asked about the types of properties, the postcodes, exact addresses, and if there are any available lifts.
Q: How long does the video survey take? Is there a limit?
A: This depends on the size of your property. Generally, about 15 to 20 minutes will be enough.
Q: Can I cancel or re-schedule a service after I have booked?
A: Yes, and yes. Just please make sure to do so at least 48 hours before the appointment to avoid cancellation charges (as per our Terms of Use).
Q: Can I add more boxes/furniture to be moved after the house survey takes place?
A: Please make sure to contact us as soon as this development occurs and we will see what we can do.
Q: Can I book additional services after the survey takes place?
A: Yes, you can. However, please make sure to give us notice in advance so we can fit it in a convenient way within what you have already booked.
We charge only for the work we carry out.
Q: Can I pick up items on the way?
A: Yes, you can. As long as we agree to it at the time of the booking
Q: What if my items are not packed in, can we still go ahead with the move?
A: Yes, you can, but you must pay for the Packing Service, if packing cannot be finished on time, we will have to do Load/Offload the next available date. This will a very complicating situation if key transfer has to happens which is usually by mid day.
Q: Can I get help with Washing Machine electrical and gas appliances disconnection and connections?
A: All Electrical or gas appliances will have to be disconnected and ready for Loading before our workforce arrive. Washing Machines will have to be disconnected too.
